No GPS signal

Hi,

My GPS icon with a line through it is on. Is there anything I can do to fix this.

If you have the roof mounted gps ariel, then it is probable the antenna has failed. Easy to check, just buy a new Fakra terminated antenna off EBay for about £6. Plug it into your gps unit in the boot and see if your position is found. If it is, then you need to take off the roof mounted antenna and open it up, remove the old antenna and epoxy glue in the new one. Voila a working GPS again.

There are threads giving detail of how to do this, if you search. Should've been old enough to know better...doh!
