United States 2003 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

All Vogues did not have this seat package...it was a $5,000USD upgrade if you ordered it on your Vogue, and It was included in the Oxford package...it featured special stitched leather fluted seats for additional comfort in Oxford Leather with additional electric adjustments including electric headrests, lumbar and front/rear heated seats. The Oxford package had these seats, along with Foundry Silver trim on the left and right dash panels(the ones with the driver and passenger A/C vents in them) as well as black pillars in the dash/console, instead of wood grain. They also had a panel in the rear armrest that opens up with a push through protective "bag" for your skis...this was part if the Winter package...There were 530 Oxford Editions made in 2003, with 120 of those being black, and 250 of them in Silver...I do not know how many of the other colors were sold.

The standard Vogue seats were simply double stitched with basic electric controls.

Hope this info is helpful.

Wales 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

Once again, we see the LR marketing dept working out a way of making some extra cash out of various markets.
In the UK, the main trim levels were SE, then up to HSE and then up to Vogue. Later came Vogue SE, another step up.
SE in Britain meant no park sensors, no heated seats, no screen, no Nav, no memory seats, no sunroof (basically, SE is poverty spec, and was notoriously harder to sell in the motor trade). HSE upgraded quite a lot of those, and Vogue gave you the full monty, including rear heated seats. The upgraded leather was standard on Vogue, and an optional extra on HSE and SE. The 14 way memory seats were also a Vogue standard spec item. Not sure if they were a cost option on HSE.

yes leather door handles and top dash. drivers handle in good shape considering age of car. shame they didn't do the dash lower face in similar leather. -would have been pure class, -considering having a secondhand lower dash panel/glovebox covered in similar grained leather to compliment a piano black dash piece set.....
and yes 5k purchase, but it needed a timing chain rebuild, so factor in a further 1k for parts/setting tools and some other sundries to MOT etc fantastic car, but it was a gamble! puts grin on my face almost everytime i drive it! and secondhand parts are great value on the old 'bay of life'. the early type seats are very comfortable, and very 'adjustable'
one thing i wanted to do, (and did) was to use the RSW lead not just to clear codes etc. but to disable the steering column auto retract and return on key in/out. -done, -much better. less failure risk. and no issue on departing car, even with my near potbelly.

I have all of the above on my 2002 vogue apart from the black panels. Leather door pulls, dash, grab handles. All standard Vogue isn't it?

black panels and foundry cappings were just an option as opposed walnut or cherry.... your car sounds like a standard Vogue, nothing special outwith any 2002 - 2003 Vogue by the sounds of it Thumbs Up Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White
Gone: Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue, Zambezi Silver, Charcoal Oxford Leather
Also: Mk1 Audi TT 1.8T Quattro, Brilliant Black

From what I have found, the Oxford Edition is referring to a special edition offered in limited numbers to the US, as the US does not have the VOGUE model, only the HSE...Many, if not all, of the features on this vehicle would be found on a VOGUE.

The seats are standard Vogue 14-way seats in Oxford Leather.

That explains it.
My european Vogue assembled in late 2002 is a 2003 model with the Oxford contour seats which came as part of the Vogue spec. BTW: I made a good find on Ebay, a new drivers seat leather seat cover of my grey color, in the Oxford spec. To keep as spare. /gunnar L322 Vogue V8 -03 Giverny Green
