I had one as a loaner and would agree. I couldn't find any love for it. Yes it's a decent enough car, and yes it looks quite snazzy, but No, for me it really isn't a Range Rover. It just doesn't feel like a RR, more like your average eurobox does these days.

You're going to get Defender, Discovery and Range Rover as sub-brands with models under each - hence the new bonnet badging. |

Sorry, after having owned five Range Rovers starting with a 3.5 litre carburettor V8 (would never have a diesel!), there should only ever be one marque worthy of the Range Rover name!

I rented one in Majorca on holiday and I found it a very pleasant drive (on Majorca roads obviously) my only concerns were the lack of power, the room in it (it is very clostrophobic) the visibility is crap and I'm not sure that (do the do a two wheel drive?) mine was a 4 x 4 as it got stuck a couple of times (one time on a flat sandy beach car park!!!)
