Just been out and operated the Hi/Low switch and it worked 5 or 6 times then stopper working. Switch the ignition off and back on and it worked again so I suspect a dirty connection somewhere |

I think it is limited to 5 operations in succession 47p2...... To stop the motor overheating. There is a lot of this type of protection built into the ECUs on a L322. Turning the ignition on and off resets the ECU. |

My 2003 td6 vogue ,was coming up transferbox neutral and bonging now and again,it would not go into low range. So with nothing to loose i removed the transfer box motor, three bolts then on a bench took off the side domed cover two torx. I cleaned the contacts and put back together,be careful when putting on the cover as the magnet can pull the four sprung loaded contacts off.powered up pins 9 and 10 the closest pins on the plug next to the domed cover in any order and my motor spun up, realign the master spline and refit and mine now works great low to high and no more messaging thank god,i now put it into low/high once every two weeks to keep it in use.Hope this is any help.
