This is the Contra Dam near Locarno in Switzerland. It was used for the dam scene in Goldeneye. My photography doesn't do it justice - if you want to see how scary it is, check out this scene from the movie. This is from the top.
It's very convex so you can actually bungee off it without lobotomising yourself, although you'd have to be lobotomised to do that. I was too chicken to walk across, or even lean over and see how far down it goes.
These are the sides to let water overflow.

This is the Dam that sits a couple of mile up the road from where my house in Spain is ...
