Volvo XC60's

Although previously i had 2 XC90's .... just wondering if anyone on here has either owned an XC60 ...

Reason for asking the oldest Daughter is getting a bit fed up with her Merc ML and i have been looking at other Marques for her ... Audi Q5's , Evoques , Landrover handbags (Freelanders) , even the Kia's and other sorts ....

Most of the above don't suit due to the daughter and No1 granddaughters items required when going out , so have been looking online today at the XC60's for her as she finds the XC90's a bit on the big side ....

Anyone any info on them as owners ... Thumbs Up

TIA ====================================

I really like the new Kia sportage. I just clocked up 135000 this morning in my work Kia, the engine has not missed a beat since I got it 3 years ago.. Get it serviced at the Kia dealer in Perth, they are also Merc dealers, they share the same workshop. Previously..

Toyota Rav4? Maybe a Land Bruiser?

The XC-60's are meant to be good cars but i only know of people like you that have had the big brother.

Take it for a drive and see what she thinks of it.

Its your money at the end of the day so get her the Kia and a roof box Very Happy

gotta ask but how big is the pram?!? I used to get a pram and then a pushchair into the boot of a Suzuki Swift Sport with ease and it wasn't an aldi special pram either! And then the shopping went on top of it without any problems... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

uncle just plumped for xc60... think she'd like it a lot. feels much less agricultural than xc90, very car-like to drive, driving position relatively low. No split tailgate tho, and quite expensive for what it is, cheaper than an ML I guess.

Wife has one currently, its just coming to the end of a 3 year lease. Reliability has been good, build is good an the interior is quite nice too. I can't stand driving it though as its a bit soulless for me. New D4 ordered to replace in March. Happy to answer any specific questions Thumbs Up 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver

I just went through the same process looking for a car to complement the RR.

I did look at all of the cars mentioned in the OP.

The XC60 was a good enough car but I ended up with a VW Touareg.

Had it three weeks now. A fantastic car and nearly as good as the RR in many aspects.

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

We had a XC60 for our vacation in Europe and lived with it for a month. For the road trip with 2 kids it was fine. Only issue was the boot got a bit full towards the end but that is because we kept gathering crap.

It is very nice to live with, not too big, not too small, quiet, smooth. Not a FFRR but pretty close. We had no issues with it whatsoever (well at the end it wanted oil and we only did some 12,000 kms).

If you like the looks, it is a good choice. At least it stands out and can't be called bland Smile

Only problem was the seats. My wifes back started hurting more and more as we went on. It had the R-design seats etc. maybe the normal seats are fine. I suggest for her to do a long drive to see if the seats are OK for her. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I recently bought a new Kia Sportage, had it less than 6 months, it was so so so dull. Also, they're supposed to do 50+ mpg (1.7 NA Diesel) I couldn't get mine over 34 mpg.

My friend has just bought an. Audi Q5 2.0TFSi lovely car!
