What's the system you can turn off then. Thought it was the digital sound? I had one that was very echoey like in a church and just turned it off and then it sounded great.... |

Still pretty sure I turned it off completely on a 2003 I had in recently. I ghave not got one to check at the moment.... It was an option on one of the first screens: DSP Off |

Yes, dsp off, but the dsp is more than just a digital sound processor. It also acts as an amp. When you turn it, you ate just turning off the preset equalizer. |

Ah ok, I too have to keep turning it back on, most times the screen on the stereo has frozen and wont even be able to go into the computer or sat nav and at worse wont change mode, ie radio to cd player!
