It has arrived...

Having been through the whole process of specing and ordering the new range rover for my old man, i got the pleasure of picking it up from the dealer and putting the first 50 miles on it.

I drive a discovery 3 - so this was a big change for me. All i can say is what an incredible car - and i was very sad to hand it over to my Dad!

It is a Range Rover TDV6 Vogue in Corris Grey.

One point which may be of interest is that we did not go for the panoramic roof, it has a black interior and it has tinted windows - i read a lot of comments saying this made it extremely dark inside, at one point i almost cancelled the tinted windows as i was so worried about this. I can let you know that it does not feel dark at all inside, not even in the back.

We also had the advantage of only a 3 1/2 month waiting time from ordering to pick up due to not having the pano roof.

My only dislike is these new silver centre caps - they don't look right!

yes - parking ticket day one

I suspect you can buy all sorts of different caps.

MY13 had black 'Land Rover oval' badges in the caps, certain wheels on MY14.5 will have the green 'Land Rover' oval badges.

I currently have silver caps on mine and am changing them to green ovals, as this will match my bodywork badges, which are green.

Have wing mounted indicators been deleted on the L405 now in favour of the not so visible mirror choice? I thought they were an additional indicator - this isn't a criticism just a query Land Rover Addict

Yes, it's a new LR trend, they got another good deal on the those mirrors with built-in indicators. The 2014 Discovery got the same treatment with the engine badge moving to where those indicators were previously.
