Gearbox issues - Advice sought !

Friend had an issue with his TD6 (2003) Fires up fine drives fine for c. 20mins then starts missing gears

Is this terminal??

Any help much appreciated 2013 L405 Autobiography Baltic Blue

I'd say get a diagnostic on it to pull any codes first - then check live values for temperature etc .... could be a simple fix replacing the cooler.

Pulling fault codes? .... Yea, check out the IIDTool - should be compulsory purchase for any RR owner.

Saint V8 did a howto for a V8 tranny cooler, similar to what is needed on a TD6 .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
