Charging

Hi I brought a MSX10 in the group buy from disco3 forum not used it yet
I now want to do the FFRR before winter really arrives
Where's the best place to connect ? Straight on the battery terminals or onto the jump start posts
Didn't want to cause problems before I start Rolling with laughter
Cheers
Lee

Either will do, jump start posts are easier to get to and therefore more convenient.
The tow electrics adapter is also a good idea. Thumbs Up

If you have no towbar electrics and want an "emergency" connection to you battery for charging you simply need to buy another ctek connection lead and connect it with the original to to jump posts.
You then feed the second lead out of the engine bay over the battery and bonnet seal and conceal about 150mm of cable and the connector below the back edge of the bonnet at the passenger side bottom corner of the windscreen.
You then have a connection available for battery charging in the event of not being able to get into the car due to dead battery and faulty key locking. Can be very handy. Thumbs Up

Mine go on the 'jump' start when left too.
