Tried my FBH yesterday and got the dreaded "click" when I hit the starter. Thankfully, turning off the lights and stereo meant I managed to start it.

Mine's starting up but then cutting out before it gets warm, probably means I have to clean the glowplug or get a new glow plug..

Another thing added to the list of jobs lol

I'd use some pure acetone in a metal tub and suspend the plug into it so the tip/sheath is 99% into the liquid and let it clean it off. Anything you physically do to clean it like wire wool or wire brush could damage the sheath and render it worse off.

Also give the combustion chamber a light clean out by hand as well as that will be like a chimney by now if it's never been done or had a fuel treatment they it when it's been running. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
