Another, any ideas!









I'm back with another un identified piece of kit!
The silver box that looks like a stereo cage just sits loose on top of the loom.
Also the first pic shows 2 cables that aren't connected anything! One of them looks like aerial.
Any help greatly appreciated! Very Happy

Looks like the BM54 radio module, and yes that looks like the arial lead.

I may be barking up the wrong tree...if so, apologies.

Is it the BMW type TMC (Traffic Message Channel) Box? Don't know if the pre-touchscreen FFRR's had them fitted as standard or an optional extra, I have the MY05 TD6 with the fibre op system and it has a TMC Box fitted (it's been disabled in the software, but I can get it to work using a hack code through the SatNav), which looks similar in size and shape.

Could this be a possibility?? Idea
