Hi Guys

I could really do with some help with this one, started the vehicle this morning no issue but within five minutes it has no power can just about make 50 mph.

The engine sounds as if it is not running smooth as normal, low revs etc.

I used the IID and got the following error codes from the PCM Engine TD6 ECU:

3505 - unknown
0205 - unknown
1E30 - unknown
1613 - unknown

These were th eonly faults shown, any ideas??

Where there any other letter etc before the above numbers?

No letters just numbers from the IID,

I just checked again to make sure, I found a list on the Wiki but they all have letters preceding the numbers so I am stuck.

Injector number 4 is playing up.

....maybe.

Update to the problem, diagnosed as injector number 6 at fault part number MJY 0070

Replacement price circa £600.00 plus labour any ideas??

Guys - Had the injector number 6 replaced as diagnosed by a Land Rover garage by the same garage, collected the car on Wednesday drove home and used it yesterday all good, now suffering same symptoms as before injector replacement..

Could it be:
a) Poor diesel ( Tesco )
b) In correct diagnosis

Any ideas?

Have the fuel pumps pumps been checked? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I do not think so, I will mention it to them when I take it back this morning.

Fuel pumps checked all OK, the gargae tested the FF for 36 hours and as soon as I took it home the same symptoms started again so back to the garage tomorrow.

It looks more and more like poor fuel, any ideas where I can get the fuel analysed in Essex or Greenwich?
Any ideas??

As an update to the Poor running saga, I got the FF back this evening after the garage replaced a faulty wiring loom, all running well - I will post the exact details tomorrow when I get the full report from the garage.

I would like to express my thanks to all especially Patrick and the Gap team for their assistance with the fault codes and diagrams which they sent to me - big thumbs up guys

i wonder if your faulty loom is the same one as they replaced on wheeler dealers.. ... - .- -.
