Any carpenters in the house?

I've just bought a few sets of hardwood blinds for the house and I need to cut them down. My plan is to clamp them tightly and saw them, but which saw is the best to avoid splintering the wood?

Actually, I did this once but with softwood blinds. It was a real PITA from what I remember as I couldn't clamp them all. I think I used a hack saw.

Incidentally, where did you get them?

Yes, clamp... But also put a bit of wood either side of the louvres to stop splintering. Use as fine a saw as you have if cutting by hand.
I used a circular saw last time. Done it many times now. Thumbs Up Previously..

Not a hack saw - a tennants saw.

Either way, the wrong one! Laughing

Laughing That'll be a tenon saw then... Unless our lager company is now manufacturing hand tools... Previously..

No - I borrowed it off David Tennant. Must give it back it's still on my work bench. Laughing
