Hi. I'm a newbie on here - a quick question for you all.

I'm looking to get an 07/08 TDV8, and I can't seem to find anywhere what the equipment difference is between a Vogue and a Vogue SE Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance for any help.

There are exceptions of course but I'll give you a quick tip , look down at the dash between the sets and just in front of the gear leaver there is a clock , if it is on its own then you have a Vogue , if it is flanked by two rotary controllers with seats drawn on them you have a Vogue SE . Simples .
( this is if it has terrain response , the pre interior face lift cars are harder to tell ) 2008 MY Supercharged
Rimini Red / Jet
four zone climate
remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.

The difference varies year by year and everything is available as an option on a Vogue anyway, the Vogue SE just has a set of 'options' as standard.

I'll forget some, but here goes -

Heated & cooled front seats
Rear Seat Entertainment (Video screens in the back, DVD changer in the boot, controllable from the front display)
Ski hatch (the back of the arm rest comes out & there is a fitted bag so you can feed your skis through from the boot
Extended wood (a few extra bits of trim)
Retractable dog guard (a roller net behind the rear headrests to the roof
Different alloys as standard
TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system)

I've got a VSE & to be honest, I wouldn't pay extra for any of the features - others would disagree

Cooled seats I used maybe twice & the car spends it's summers in Bordeaux so not exactly cold.
RSE - my kids just use their iPads
Ski hatch - used it once - doesn't fit snowboards - with snowboards on the roof the skis might as well be there too
Extended wood - so what ?
Retractable dog guard - OK - I actually use that, but have a small chihuahua who sits on the boot shelf
Alloys were changed anyway
TPMS - more trouble than its worth IMHO

Basically, figure out what options you care about & look for a car with them - don't worry about Vogue vs SE - I got mine as it was the best available in the colour scheme I wanted.

And from the other side of the coin... My 5yr old asks for the RSE even if we go 100yds Shocked

The cooled seats are the best option on long hot journeys IMHO (but my wife hates them)

So, VSE all the way for me Thumbs Up

I had a se and it didn't have sunroof/sat nav/tv/heated seats/puddle lights it's kind of like a cup edition of a Clio Laughing
Strip out all the good bits to save weight.

The reason a Sport HSE has nav is because that was the top spec Sport at the start. The HSE falls below Vogue, Vogue SE and Autobiography on the FFRR.
