Mirror not dropping in reverse?

When I select reverse my passenger mirror isn't dropping now the camera comes on and the sensors also all work it's just the mirror isn't dropping? Any ideas? F**K IT you only live once

The switch for adjusting your wing mirrors may be set the wrong way - can't remember which way round it is, drivers or passengers - but one way drops the mirror and the other leaves it up

square button over to the left (passenger) side should activate it. If it doesn't, it could be it is jammed or caught on something inside the mirror housing. Mine was a bit iffy at first but manipulated it a bit and now works fine.

It bugs us because our drive is like Mount Everest and when it dips down you can't see anything

When I put mine in reverse the passenger mirror just goes mad! Left right up down??
How do you actually set it to drop where you want?

Hi SATVC,

I'm a recent owner so not sure if i did it the correct way or just pure luck haha
My way:
I set the car to reverse, when the mirror dips then i adjust to my liking, then I set the memory seat.
After that it seems to dip to the same position.

Cheers!

Think that the rave manual says something along these lines (and stand to be corrected- but have read it somewhere) but I gave in after a few attempts and just accept where it stops. However some days it does have a bit of a fit and can't make up it's mind where it wants to go, i just put this down to a possible connection issue and I've added it to my lengthy list of things to do Wink
door card square button does switch off this option as stated earlier in this thread tho and is more often than not the cure to the 'WTF is wrong with it now Big Cry ' moments of dispare Yes I was there but I wasn't directly responsible for that particular part because I was way over there in the corner with my back turned and anyway I wasn't even supposed to be here today
