Been for a row across the lake

I have a rowing boat that I have winched to the ceiling of my garage.

It's sort of somewhere between one of those large wooden ones that you row a victorian lady with a hamper and parasol across a river for a picnic, and a full on racing one that will capsize if you lean over slightly.

Rolled the boat across the road to the lake. The Mountain behind is Pilatus.

Funny, there's a good view of the lake from my house, but not a good view of my house from the lake.

Really must clean the boat. It's picked up all the filth from when I was welding my glass floor frame.

Here's a better view of Pilatus and also Monk, Eiger and Jungfrau 70km's away. If you were to put another Pilatus on top of that Pilatus, that's approx how high Jungfrau is.

I was going to pop in for breakfast with my friend Werni but he'd been up all night doing drugs and whores so I left him alone.

This is my village from the other side. You can see I live on the correct side to get the best view, and also the sunlight.

This is the view of the Rigi when going back in the other direction.

Back in Merlischachen.

I've not used the boat as much as I should. Every time I do I wonder why I don't do it more often as it's so nice to be on the water and it's great excercise. It's just hard to get out of a comfy bed early in the morning and go out on the lake.
