I had a similar problem with mine not booting up and just staying on the LR screen. It turned out to be a faulty bluetooth module - water damage to the plug.

You have to take the two fibre optic cables out of the connector and line them up so they are pointing directly at each other. If you put one in each end of a short piece of a straw or some tubing it will do this. This bypasses the BT module and the system should then boot up. You may need to pull the fuse for the head unit to reset it but I cant remember which one it is. |

Its been raining a lot recently and these things do like to soak up some of the rain through the rear end. I would double check for water ingress on both sides of the rear quarters and in the wheel well. If you dont find any traces of water temporarily wrap bin bags over the electrics on both sides and get the watering can or hose on the backend focusing on the D pillars, upper tailgate roof bolts & the roof ariel. Give it a minute or so and open the tailgate & start carefully looking for drips or puddles on the bags and feel the wadding around the electrics, dont be too surprised if you find water in all over very expensive electronic boxes of joy ............... Land Rover thinks thats ok

Still not sorted. Weeks of no radio. Unplug the changer an the radio comes on beeps when you press channels but still no sound. If you click into music settings it won't change options like move sound left to right. No sound option works. So I'm guessing it's either amp or speakers |
