sooo close but feels an age away..

So I was ment to pick up the FF Yesterday but was told earlier in the week that a little work was to be done after it had an mot, so was asked pick up Friday (tomorrow).
Got a nice message on the phone to give them a call........Could you pick up on Saturday as when they lowered the FF of the ramp they noticed one rear air bag had a split and was leaking air and will be fixed tomorrow.

Boy the suspense is intense but at least they are fixing these little things before I've even seen the RR ! Shocked If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Will reveal on Saturday.......if its ready, have a long and early train journey down south and an equally long drive back, but at least it will be first class coming home Thumbs Up If it dont work.......burn it!

So this morning was an early starter down to the west country to pick up FF, she's nice and clean, ready for the long hall home..but not till I getting some cider though.

Tank filled up, £102.00, 79.67 lts and got home on half tank of fuel returning 16.5 mpg, according to the computer.....thank you I can live with that much better than my D1 V8 Smile

FF sticker on before I left and the good old authorised parking badge on the back too ( welsh dragon badge ) Laughing

The trip back was, hell though....rain, rain and more flippin rain, soooo many trucks that like too get in the way, don't like motorways when its that busy but at least in the FF she waft along nicely without a hint of trouble, mind the only thing was the screen on the cd/ nav display froze for a few miles but sorted it's self out, god know how.

Pictures to follow some time when it stops raining, as we all like pic's of FF's Thumbs Up If it dont work.......burn it!

she's an 03 with 78k and a proper one....4.4 petrol Thumbs Up If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

ok we like pictures so I thought you might like to see some.
I have been after this colour for a long time, with these seats and cherry trim.
Not sure about the grills but its sure stands out from the norm Twisted Evil

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up its always nice to get the colour you've been after for soooo long and then get it, this was bought with out even seeing it in the flesh. Mr. Green If it dont work.......burn it!
