no, your range rover uses a MOST fibre optic system and no aftermarket unit will fit.. ... - .- -.

Get a Parrot Mki 9200 fitted. Have done that in mine and it's perfect for iPhones and Android - will charge the phone, sort out phone calls and play music from the phone.

Or you could try one of these,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221258614344?ssP...1438.l2649

Pretty expensive and I can't vouch for the product in anyway, but seems to offer a lot if the sales blurb is to be believed.

Over 3 times the price of the Parrot - and doesn't seem to do any more.

Does the Parrot integrate with the touchscreen and steering wheel controls?

Semi - it has its own little screen that shows the tracks playing and the id of the callers. The steering wheel volumes controls control the er... volume, and the track skip keys etc can be used to in some cars using a standard interface (but not the RR). However it has it's own little wireless control panel that you can mount anywhere that's convenient.

It's voice recognition for making calls without touching the phone (or anything else) is second to none though.

So I guess the LR-Media thingy does offer more than the Parrot, just it costs a hell of a lot more.

I couldn't see what it did do from the description on the ebay page - a bit sparse on detail!

I like the parrot and have had the same model installed in every car for the last few years as it works so well and isn't expensive to have installed. Also it can pair with multiple phones at the same time - handy as the 'er indoors can use the car and it pairs with her phone, and when we're both in the car it pairs with her phone and mine.

As her phone is always in the depths of her handbag, it means she misses fewer calls when we're in the car than when she is at home actually waiting for a call!

Looking at the eBay advert for the LR-Media device it does include a link to the manual.

http://www.incarhandsfree.co.uk/ebay/image...Gen1-2.pdf

I did speak to these people about the device a few months ago, as I was interested myself, but they could not offer me a vehicle to see the LR-Media device up and running so I left it. Not sure if that's changed since, as I told them at the time, after all who would want to spend £500 and installation on top for an untried/unseen device.

Thanks for the link - I missed that!

It looks nicely integrated - but it is still a lot of money.
