Go to close the sunroof with the one click forward, it goes all the way then retracts back at the last second, almost as if it came across an obstruction.

Seems to have periodically, not all the time. One way to close the roof is to press for the tilt open, then go for full close.

Anyone else had the same? Discovery 4 HSE

hi, had it on a bmw i had, it just needed some silicon spray, it was very stiff and when it was almost closed it would open again, the last inch was so stiff it must of thought some one had a hand or some thing there so would open again for safty, after the spray it was 100% V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Mine was doing this all the time. They sorted it under warranty but unfortunately didn't tell me what they did! Gave the usual 'weve "reset" the sunroof'

They didnt use any parts though so it probably is something simple like lubricant...

i had this 3 times and every time it happened i had opened the sunroof a few days previous and stupidly put the washes on while open i think it got wet somewhere. was fine when dried out.

Its basically when the sunroof thinks somethings in the way of it closing. A good clean and WD40 or as suggested silicone spray solved mine. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**
