Thanks for the info folks. Doesn't sound like its worth the compromise in noise and smell for any gains I might get.

"Agricultural" that was the word I was looking for earlier. Sums up the engine noise nicely. Interesting comments about the note being related to the tune. Hopefully the remap will improve this too.
