You sure did get a bargain, especially from the dealers and with that price tag!

I think it was because it was a TD6.
The TDV8 (4 months newer) was 8k more. Still good value, but that's just the way prices were at the end of 2008.

Funnily enough, two weeks after I bought it (Hunters in Ipswitch) the dealer closed down.
I think they just reopened a short while back as a proper main dealer.

nearly bought a vehicle from Hunters 3 years ago - too blooming far though, but had what I wanted in the right colour...

Wow i paid just 2k less with more mileage.. 2 years later.

To be honest, you probably paid a fair price by todays standards. The market was in a right state at a certain time in 2008/2009. Nobody was buying and the used car market was well down overall, not just for Land Rovers or Range Rovers.
