United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

You sure did get a bargain, especially from the dealers and with that price tag!

I think it was because it was a TD6.
The TDV8 (4 months newer) was 8k more. Still good value, but that's just the way prices were at the end of 2008.

I actually paid 24k for mine, just before it was three years old and with 28k on the clock. That was thanks to the bankers screwing the economy up and they couldn't sell 'em... from a main dealer Thumbs Up Seemed a bargain.

Good deal mate , I thought I had caught the bottom of the swing in summer 2008 with 2.5 years old and 28k Thumbs Up 2008 MY Supercharged
Rimini Red / Jet
four zone climate
remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.

I'd love to say it was planned, but it wasn't. Sheer fluke.
Seemed good value next to a Disco3 of the same age and milage that was only 2k cheaper! Shocked

Funnily enough, two weeks after I bought it (Hunters in Ipswitch) the dealer closed down.
I think they just reopened a short while back as a proper main dealer.

I got a 2.5 year old low mileage TDV8 Vogue in late 2009 for 32k....(not long before prices boomed!)

To be honest, you probably paid a fair price by todays standards. The market was in a right state at a certain time in 2008/2009. Nobody was buying and the used car market was well down overall, not just for Land Rovers or Range Rovers.

Sorry for the thread hijack by the way. Embarassed
