fitting a tow bar

hi everyone

i have got a second hand tow bar and was wondering if there was anything i should know before i fit.....

i have the cross member type that has the square hole which you then fit the hook etc....

i have the electrics and the module, i was thinking of just getting the cross member on for starters...and fitting the electrics later.... is this the right way to do it?

andy

once the bumper is off am assuming that you have to take the bumper bar off and the cross member fits between the teh car and the bumper bar?

anyone any ideas?

The bumper mountings come off and the tow bar one replaces them once you have the bumper off you will see what i mean.
