Is it a consistent ticking noise or a random clicking? |

There is the body control unit under the passenger seat BCU, but I have never heard any clicking sounds from mine. Had a TD6 for 6 years and the only clicking or ticking sound I ever heard would be the fuel pump located under the car by the passenger side rear wheel. This I suppose could appear to sound like its coming from under the passenger seat. Maybe the fuel pump is more noticeable/noisy when the car is 1st started. |

Random clicking. Noticed it when I was sat in traffic about ten minutes after starting car. It sounded like it was under passenger seat but could have been misheard New L322 Owner - |

Well I can only think its the BCU as that's the only electronics under the passenger seat. Unless its something mechanical that's not inside the car. |

Mine does this too, regular ticking sound, not too loud, from cold startup but seems to disappear after 15-20 minutes.
