Wife and I have just updated old iPhone 4 to iPhone 5s.

Which connector cable do we need to plug it into the FFRR? It's a MY11 TDV8.

Update: yeah I understand it'd be simpler (although a tad more expensive) to get the new FFRR but we're a few months off that  MY2011 TDV8 Vogue - GONE

You just need the genuine Apple 30pin to Lightning adapter and it will convert your existing cable to work with the iphone 5, 5C & 5S. They cost about £25 & can be got in Apple stores, O2 Shops etc. Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

And make sure you get a genuine Apple one - audio output on the 5 is digital only and e Apple converter has a DAC in it

Cheap copies don't have the DAC = no audio output  2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Also on iOS 7 they have added a kind of cable recognition. Plug in a non apple approved cheap charging cable and it will give a message and charge slowly and not to full.......but if there is an apple adaptor in line it seems to work fine There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
