New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

The few times a year that I do drink something with alcohol in it, it is either a Shiraz (preferably Young's Vineyard but haven't been to visit them any more since my friend Steven died) or Amarula or Molinari Sambuca. Never really liked the taste of alcohol, only stuff that hides it well I can live with (used to make and drink a lot of cocktails many years ago, when I was still a youngster Smile ). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Have you noticed that there seems to be a majority who don't/weren't drinking alcohol?

I was a non drinker until a few years ago, I hated the taste of alcohol and couldn't cope with hangovers, at the age of 21 I was so drunk I suffered a hangover for 5 days and that stopped me drinking. Nowadays I enjoy the occasional glass of red wine, possibly push the boat out and have a second glass, but when I try to consume a third glass I don't enjoy it and leave it lying.

I've certainly noticed that over the past few years, my tolerance to hangovers has reduced quite dramatically, and as a consequence, I seem to have a part of my brain that tells me I've had enough, usually after 3 or 4 of whatever I'm drinking.

I'm also conscious of the amount of people who fail "the morning after" breath test, so I never take the chance of being remotely close to the limit. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I was a big drinker till a year ago. Never to get drunk, just it became a regular thing most evenings. I just didn't like the pattern I'd fallen into - drinking alone at home, so I quit.

I didn't find it difficult and don't really miss it. I still have drink in the house for visitors, so I wasn't an alcoholic, but I didn't want to become one.

I'm one of these all or nothing people. I don't find moderation easy.

I certainly don't moralise. It's lovely stuff - go ahead and enjoy it. But for me I get more out of life without it.
