This rainy season hasn't seen it this bad but close. At least we still can do plenty of offroading in town, no need to leave the city centre

Unbeknownst to me, one of my colleagues was driving by and took this pic and my avatar pic, which he sent to me when we got back to the office.

Remember that weather well Ebajema. I had the same in Port Harcourt and Bonny Island. Only I had to slum it in a Toymota!! |

PH actually has worse weather than Lagos, more rain and for longer. We're lucky here that it only gets this bad a few times. These pics were taken in the worst we've seen it in 4 1/2 years. During this particular time, I had the FFRR almost struggling getting through a deep puddle with loose rubble in it. With struggle I mean the wheels spun for a second and the FFRR just took me through without any further issues. Point being nobody else dared to go through that particular puddle as it had been getting progressively worse. A sedan would have flooded in it . MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I remember it well.......especially when the toybota got stuck in soft sand washout because of the cart springs on the back and zero weight. UUUssseless.

FFRRs you see mostly in Lagos, very high density of them here. Haven't seen them much anywhere else, not even in Abuja. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
