That kind of thing really boils my Censored .

I ride a bike and have done for a lot of years, yes some car drives are total arse wipes, I know some complete tw@ts that ride bikes too, but that kind of bullying and intimidation is unacceptable.

If it was me and I had my two babies in the car I'd have ran over as many as I needed to until they got the message I'm afraid.

Horrible outcome. Road rage taken to the ultimate end. Present* 2006 Santorini SC Vogue SE.
Gone* 2006 4.4 AJV8 Zermatt Vogue.
Gone* 2004 TD6 Bonatti Vogue.

I feel really sad when I see this, for the family in the SSRR and the family of the biker.

From a legal point of view it is very interesting to see where the responsibility will now be put.

From a moral point of view it is even more interesting. Based on the very limited, media coloured information, I would hazard a guess that ultimately the biker that "started it" is at fault here, although involuntarily (I'm pretty sure !!!).

I have been riding bikes longer than cars (started at 18, car at 19) and have seen this behaviour of bikers too many times. Have even been in a group that did something similar (although I didn't even know it happened when it was done) happened. We were at the Dutch TT many many years ago (I was 20 I think) and some of my friends were "putting down some rubber" on the road next to the farm we were staying at. Just some donuts and lines, nothing extraordinary just some smoke and fun.

There were three "groups" at the grounds, we (Dutchies) and two groups of Germans (biker clubs as in enthusiast not the "nasty" type or that is what it seemed). Anyway, both groups were admiring the handy work of my mates (and they were very good at it, very straight lines, compared to the German guys that were trying it first).

However during the "demo" the road was of course blocked by some 50/60 people and apparently (I heard that later that day), a taxi driver had tried to get through, beeped his horn a few times and some of the guys apparently had a little "talk" with him.

We (the Dutchies) didn't find out till the police came round. Now when I say came round, I mean a police van stopped with screeching tyres, doors swung open and they came out hitting in full riot gear. The burnouts had already stopped and we were back in the farm again admiring the state of the rear tyres (I think it was about half an hour after the taxi driver was assaulted). A little later that day we found out what happened from the farmer.

I just feel it's sad that this stuff happened and still happens, people just get upset so quickly these days, like they are continuously on edge. I think it is time to start putting valium in our drinking water iso fluoride Laughing Laughing Laughing MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
