It could well be David but they feel very different compared to a normal spring as technically its a Gas/Rubber spring instead of a coil/metal arrangement so much freer moving and not likely to snap

Must admit I love Citroens too but only one I owned was a 2cv infact 3 of them last one being a dolly ! Always fancied a CX or an XM .

I have heard of some petrols doing that but not too often. Still worrying though!!!
