I'm considering an outdoor cover for my SC as I'm away 4 or 5 weeks at a time. Any recommendations?

I think a good quality cover would work. Just make sure the car is clean and dry when it goes in, otherwise the trapped moisture and dirt can actually do a bit of damage. Also the cover should be very tight so the wind can't take if of nor can the buffeting damage the car (in combination with dust it can do quite a bit of damage apparently). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

We have a soft breathable outside cover for our E55. The advantage of that is that it can be covered when wet (but clean) and still dry. It has clasps that run at the front, middle and rear so it won't blow away and it's reasonably thin enough to roll or fold away when not being used.

We've had it for two years with no problems whatsoever and it gets used year-round.

Mark, it would seem to be perfect for those long trips away and will certainly be of benefit. The quality of the cover in the pictures seems very good so all in all I reckon the price is well worth it.

Out of curiosity do you know the weight of the cover, it looks pretty substantial, but pictures never give that level of detail.

There's nothing in the paperwork giving the weight but the courier box states 15kg. I would have guessed at 10 anyway.
It's really a two person job getting it on though, especially on a windy day. Regards
