What about your own insurance company? Ask if you can transfer cover to the new FFRR for the 24 hours. I have had to do that for a courtesy vehicle before. Previously..

When I picked up my range rover, I just got cover for the one day through some Internet insurance company - was about 15£ from memory. Was good as the car needed a tax disk, but I did spend about 20 mins in the post office whilst they confirmed that all a car needed to be was insured ( if only for one day) to buy a years road tax ;-) |
