New tail lights coming?

Spotted this last night, new style tail lights on an L405.






They were a "fan" style, with 3 rows of LEDs making up the red, rather than the two boxes currently.

Apologies for the relatively poor quality, taken in the gloom with the BlackVue.

This is an early prototype not a facelift.

I know the base vehicle is disguised, but I have not seen those tail lights before.

I have seen them before in a video clip of a test mule a while ago.

It's odd that they are still running an early test mule around on the roads.
