2007-Onwards Rear Console Pillars Removal?

I've bought new Powerful piano rear pillars for my S/C, as below.

http://www.powerfuluk.com/products/range-r...piano.html

I cannot find anywhere showing how to get the old ones out. Can anyone offer some guidance?

Looking at the cubby and the fittings, it may appear the best way is to remove the cubby insides to gain access to the pillar fixing screws. Will the lid need removed as well?

Any help gratefully received. Si. <This is my name.

Hi, I was just purchasing the same, but now on a business trip for the next 2 weeks and not fitted yet. Once I get home, I`ll let you know how am I progressing. Or even better if you get it done by then, please keep me posted, with pics if possible! Smile
Anyway, do you have the relevant drawings from topix? That one I can send you, if it helps. There are also some hints of screw holes on the powerfulluk pics. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue MY12

Today I paid a visit to my friendly dealer who informed me that installing these trim pillars requires a major dismantling.
To reach the screws of the pillars the cubby should be removed. For the cubby, the complete front and rear console should be removed and to reach all these the gear lever, the hand brake the front seats should be removed... Sad Sad
Anyway, since I bought these parts I`ll go to the dealer next week and try to get these installed. I`ll report if anyone interested.
All in all I would suggest everyone to stay away from this upgrade kit due to the extensive work associated. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue MY12

Laughing

Oh well. At least I can cancel my plans to do this at the weekend. No wonder Powerful didn't put a DIY YouTube link up on their website for these. Rolling with laughter Si. <This is my name.

I have contacted powerful and now they claimed they uploaded the instructions to their youtube chanel. Should you wish to check. Moreover they say it`s an easy fix, without removal of major parts. I`ll have to check that too. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue MY12

Good video though, and apologies were given for the music accidentally added.
