Yeah but the venture cam runs on 433 mhz frequency as does bluetooth and also wireless home alarm systems.

So you can connect your vehicle although its outside the house to your wireless home alarm system via the same frequency when you re-adjust the settings on your main box to pick up the frequency of the transmitting venture cam.

This in turn can also be re-routed thru the receiver micros box of my own CCTV system which means the slightest movement of the vehicle ,ie someone trying a door the vibrating causes one of the cameras to pick this up in an instance which in turn thru the Micros receiver automatically turns on the monitor in the bedroom

Now your asking how can the venture cam transmit when the vehicle is parked up and locked , easily switch on the venture cam and behind the docking station there is a setting which will let you change the setting of the cam.

Its always something else you can do with it.

Or, you could just leave it in the docking station and only mention it when you come to sell the car!  Discovery 4 HSE
