'Tread lightly" was the mantra preached by Land Rover when I was considerably younger (late 80's probably - when yuppies were tearing up non RoW).

Roger Craythorne said if you spun the wheels and covered the LR in mud you were damaging the countryside - to be avoided. Not certain if it applies on the Salisbury Plain?

You still allowed out to play on the 28th Sept Craig? 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

You don't necessarily need to spin wheels to cover a LR in mud.

Most of the time in my 110, it's the tyres flicking it up as they self-clean.

Gywn Lewis and MUDStuff have recently released good mudflap accessories to help bodywork stay cleaner and prevent the mud / dirt-flinging by a 90/110's tyres. Handy, especially if running wider wheels / tyres. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek with my original post! It's easy enough to cover a FFRR just by hitting a muddy puddle a bit quickly as it splashes forward and over the car with no trouble at all. Wider wheels/tyres do the job just as effectively.

Or use a '90 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

From memory this was slightly to the east of the Plain. But concrete and Salisbury Plain mud are associated words. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus
