Why would a caravan need a Sat-Nav? (I cant see the link from work!)
What I mean is, surely the caravan is being towed by the vehicle and therefore uses the vehicle Sat-Nav? Unless its a clever caravan and it goes wandering off on its own...

it will divert you away from roads that are not suitable, ie no turning, very narrow lanes, very steep hills and so on.
this is also an easy way to get a digital upgrade.

I have a Motorhome Garmin Dezi Sat Nav and you have to input the size, weight etc and create a Van profile that stops it sending you down narrow lanes or low bridges etc. Very clever Thumbs Up

I try to avoid using sat navs where possible when towing, managed to get wedged in a lane by one a couple of years ago. Real pita.

Now i try to rely on the 2 navigation devices i was given at birth(eyes) and my common sense plus try to avoid B roads where possible.......

I find in the uk a sat nav is pretty surplus most of the time, a quick look at a map and a good general knowledge of where places are tend to serve a person quite well.

Swmbo on the otherhand wouldnt have a clue how to get from town to town without assistance Whistle There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
