So what do we think of the Jaguar SUV Concept?

Bound to be an Evoque underneath...

Sorry - yuk.

23 inch wheels on a car that size. It's made for the bling brigade.

Didn't like the Evoque though - and that's a big seller. Maybe I'm becoming an old fuddy-duddy.

Actually, that's the interesting thing about it - it's a completely new aluminum platform that'll also be used for the 3 series rival. Not Evoque at all.

Put the 5.0 S/C in it and it'll pee all over the Evoque.

But as Jaguar won't, then it looks good but will it be that much different to what's available currently from other manufacturers or just another me-too offering?

And as prices will probably be high-ish, you're faced with the option of a good used L405 or Sport or a new one of these. Ummm... Wink Si. <This is my name.

Wow a new Corean 4x4, ....sorry but these lines don't work for me. If you tell me it is the new Lexus or Hyundai I'll believe you also. What happend to the real Jaguar design? It once was my favourite marque. I've had so many and they were all great.

On the SUV, I don't think this picture does it justice. I looked at some other pics and in those it looks much nicer IMHO. Still wouldn't consider it over a L322 of course.

On the F-type, GORGEOUS, saw one in the flesh in Germany and that is one SEXY car.

Oh yes, sorry, I forgot the F type, now that is a nice car, but wasn't that one designed by the former design crew?

It's a market segment they need to be in. Just a shame that Jaguar doing soft-roader fake 4x4s couldn't preclude Land Rover from doing the same.

It looks infinitely better than the awful X6.

A mongoose taking a cr4p looks better than an X6. And the X1, X3 and X5 aren't that much better. Si. <This is my name.

It will likely get the new JLR 3.0 S/C though, as well as probably 2 diesel options, the 2.2 and the 3.0.

Oh, corrected this for you too Wink

Tut tut, Jaguar - shame on you Rolling Eyes

Doubtless, it will have one of those sideways facing engine things and be available in 2WD . . .

Hideous. Full stop.

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
