United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover SE TDV8 Java Black
20 inch Tyres

Have been running with Yokohama 255/50R20 but which are great for up and down the motorway, which i used to do a lot of, but not great off road even a wet field!! Also we get tend to get heavy snow here (Cotswolds) looking for suggestions! Don't want to break the bank if I can help it. So ideally looking for some thing good on/off road.

The only realistic all terrain tyre on 20" which is speed rated for the RR is the General Grabber 275/45/20, do a search on here and on the Discovery 3/4 Forum loads of info. Just fitted a set to mine, they sell for around £640 a set fitted. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

It's down a bit, but apparently tyre life is around 50k miles according to threads on the D3 Forum. If so, Any loss in mpg would be offset by increased tyre life. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

How have you found the fuel economy. Also I was advised not to change tyre size!!! I have always stuck to original tyres on RR (apart from Yokohamas). Who is AJ? Sorry for ignorance but just joined Very Happy

This is my first range rover so I don't have anything to compare it to but on average I get 23.4mpg.
My commute to work though is only 35 miles round trip.
When I drove the car from Truro to Wirral I got 28-29.
I think I've heard you don't go higher than 20" I know people do but I'm sure it defeats the purpose of the vehicle.
