Yes , RRS 19's . I was thinking of changing the wheels soon but the tyres have good tread so will probably hang on until they are ready for changing. I was thinking of 22's but slowly coming round to the idea of not going above 20 so as not to spoil the ride. Also resisting the urge to add too much chrome. So far I've changed the orange side repeaters for smoked / chrome and since added a set of chrome handle covers.

I may add the chrome side bars at some point but can't see me going too far down the chrome route , for one it can work out expensive to have all the chrome adornments and secondly too much looks a bit too flashy or gives the impression one is the purveyor of various pharmacutical products

Not my choice , they were already on it . The previous owners said the original wheels were not very good and these were available at a good price with tyres . Would like to get some 20" Vogue wheels or super 7's at some point

I believe RRS rims have a different offset to FFRR rims.

So the question is, does it matter?
Because I've avoided them thinking this would put excess strain on wheel bearings etc..

I really wouldn't worry about the strain to the bearings - it's only 4mm difference. If you're excessively fat and have fat friends, you'll strain the bearings more. Rolling Eyes

One thing you should check with RRS wheels and tires is the load rating - if for no other reason than to keep insurance co's from trying to fleece you if something happens. The FFRR requires a load rating of at least 109.

The offset shouldn't be a problem. The RRS and FFRR share the same 18" wheels on some earlier derivatives, the RRS fitment dictates greater offset, so yours shouldn't be a problem.

BUT they still look Censored , you bought a proper Range Rover, don't sully her with cheap wheels off a RRS Thumbs Up even worse they are off a poverty spec Sporty Embarassed

flog them on ebay and buy a proper set Very Happy the price difference isn't that great...

It runs fine on stale fart gas , no noticable difference except the cost , oh and the oil stays cleaner for longer.

You can get a set of the better 18 inch (if you want to go 18s) 2006 Vogue alloys with tyres on ebay quite cheap.
I paid about £200 for a spare set of four. Good condition with decent tyres. Smile
One day I'll decide what I want to run as a second set of tyres... and use the rims.
