Australia 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White
How do I know which options have been fitted?

Hello gentlemen, I've just bought a 2012 TDV8 Vogue Luxury model (I think it might be called a Westminster in the UK, but not sure. Anyway, it's one down from the Autobiography)
I bought it privately, not from a dealer, only yesterday so it hasn't even been delivered yet. The owner seemed a bit vague about what it was fitted with, although he said when he bought it new last year he got it with the stiffer suspension to stop it rolling around so much. Does he mean Adaptive Dynamics?
If so, how do I tell if this has actually been fitted?

According to Topix it has what's called Special Value Pack E, which I have no idea about either.

How do I tell if it has the surround cameras?

Any advice would be much appreciated....

First of all I would remove your VIN number from a public forum ,

If it has camera surround it will be noted as under Vision Assist plus if the seller can tell you if it has cameras under the wing mirrors Thumbs Up

Thanks for that Joker. VIN removed, although what's the danger in that?

Certain types of people can make a ringer of your vehicle with the VIN number might not be so rife over in your neck of the woods ,

Maybe if you PM Dan our site sponsor with your VIN number he might be able to get you a build spec on your car ...

Look in the site sponsors for Dan under "Duckworths".

I'd imagine those with a passion for the sort of thing, could copy your VIN number onto a stolen RR.........

Could be wrong........

Interesting about the VIN - on carsales.com.au, they won't accept an ad for a car without the VIN number, which is published with every ad.

you can walk past any car and reads its vin number displayed on the dash, same with showing your reg number when selling a car , some do and some dont ..if a nasty man wants to clone your car he will without much effort.. ... ... - .- -.

Yeah you could but still wouldn't recommend putting it on display on a public open forum worldwide

Being in the Aussie market I assume its just listed as such so it will predominatly be a Specced Westminster and the "E" I guess will be for Environmentally Box as I noticed a few companies abroad use this in their advertising ..... Thumbs Up

Microcat may be able to shed some light on your build too.

If your car has the surround cameras the option will appear on the touch screen display. There will also be 'bulges' under both door mirrors housing the cameras and, if identified, the same cameras in the front bumper around the level of the fog lights.
