Halfordesque? Would someone please translate for those of us who don't live in Englandshire. Thx It looks good. But I am not hugely convinced that V8>V6 and 2-speed to 1-speed are improvements. If they'd put the nine speed auto in, I could understand the lack of low range as an option a little more. 18 kg? Most people have 18 kg of junk in the back. |

RR2008 it's like the auto section of Canadian Tire, the place for Rice Racers to get bits that don't actually do anything for your vehicle

I think these changes make sense. SO MANY peeps buy D4 as a family car with NO intention of ever using the low range transfer box. Plus its just an OPTION as the normal transfer box is still standard. The V6 Petrol will be a good engine too. |

The Defender, if common rhetoric is to be believed, won't be replaced and will die after 2015.

I am sure that the new Defender (we probably all seen some of the "potential" successor shots that make it look a bit "Lego-ish" to me) will be a very capable offroader probably aimed at the youngest segment of the market. Say the (kite)surfer, skateboard etc. type buyer.
