^ I would say avoid Supermarket fuel in 5.0 AB Adam, it lacks the expensive Shell/BP etc additives and is more likely the tanks have water ingress or it was a cheap batch of end of tank fuel.

I agree, and an experiment I undertook comparing cost verses mpg between std unleaded and super unleaded showed for an 8% cost increase I got 15% more mpg. And that is aside from the benefit of the additional engine cleaning additives. Same works for diesel fuels too I have found. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11 |
