its not a proper AB as the seats are different and there's no contrasting stitching on them..

Yeah, the whole Light Ash Burl (Isn't that an AB option?) with Rhubarb and Custard is an acquired taste! IMO would work a lot better with darker piping and/or wood.

mine is also a 2008 and has the 'stitched seats' so it could have been at a 'change over' time ...mind you the vender also has it as a vogue se so who knows what it is.... ... - .- -. Y. O. L. O. . |

Well the "wood" can be replaced easily (although not cheaply) with a grand piano black lacquer or other set. I don't like the piping either but would probably live with that as I do like the exterior and interior (I mean the light leather, not the "wood", that should be black imho) colours. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

For the money you could have bought the 5.0 SC off GAz, albeit higher miles but much more fun and a colour scheme that will not have been hard to sell on.... Discovery 4 HSE

I'm curious as to how much more 'fun' a 5.0 is over a 4.2. I know there's a few who have said the driving experience is better, but in what way?

I think you're right, they're being all confused calling it a Vogue SE Autobiography lol but the one-off paint and piping lead me to believe that it might be an earlier one... The mileage is baffling though, if indeed it is a £100k Autobiography special why would you not then use it post purchase?! Billionaire's shooting cart maybe? |

AFAIK 5.0 driving experience is much more sorted and less 'roly-poly' than the 4.2, with suspension tweaks and adaptive dynamics, along with a substantial 2 sec drop in 0-60 time, but I adore the whine of the 4.2, which was engineered out for the 5.0 |

True, but I quite like the colour The miles are crazy low though tbh The interior isn't that well resolved, being a bit "rhubarb and custard" but more conservative wood could amend things at least. |

With cars like this, the biggest issue is NOT having driven a lot. There are plenty parts on cars that don't do well with inaction. Seals are notorious for needing some lubrication and movement and corrosion can also set in where it normally doesn't get a chance to build up. Still it could be a great buy, just as long as you keep that in the back of your mind and have some spare cash to resolve the potential issues.

The 5.0 is simply a better car in every way. Apart from the amazing engine you are surrounded by the latest Autobiography cabin with leather & stiching and a "Latest" model feel. Plus you get the Dual Screen, Radar Cruise Control, Updated NAv & Electronics, 2010+ Body plus a whole lot more....
