Empty box on speedometer?

Does anybody know what this empty box is for on the speedometer? Had the car for a couple of months now and nothing has ever shown up in it no matter what buttons i push or what settings I change. Nothing in the manual about it either.

it looks like you should have the overal milage displayed in there or km in your case, what are the clocks from.... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

I figured the same, but the overall mileage is displayed along the bottom (after cycling through with the info button/stalk). Looking through the manual again, some pictures of the cluster show the box and other images don't show it. Seems as though LR don't even know what it's for

This picture is taken at a slight angle. If you could look down a little further under the 'Distance to Empty' you would see that it says 'Box - 3" '
