NEW VAN!

Just bought a new company van......

will now be the default vehicle for the 3.5t trailer, save the ff for best. Thumbs Up

v tidy 60 plate 2.7tdv6 commercial, no marks on it inside pristine, quite a few toys but not as many as the FFRR, it is a van after all. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Is it deffo a 2,7 and not a 3.0 as i thought they ran out the 2.7 in 2009??

If its the 3.0 you can put a standard factory map on the ECU i believe and bring the power up by a good amount Smile

How many miles and who was last owner?

I've had a few disco 4's now and the nav has improved massively since the first disco 4's Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

No, deffo 2.7 i think they saved some for the commercial......

Should have enough poke for me though for work purposes and if not then a trip to JE can get it to 235hp and 575nm, which will be plenty......

Its done 49k, 1 owner who was a large toy and gadget distributor in the north west called thumbs up! Looks like its never been near a field, and spent all its life on the motorway, underneath is spotless.

Had a pretty good look over it, doent have the nav, as its a lowish spec but does have heated screen and seats, keyless entry and go, dual zone aircon, eas, terrain response, front fogs, load mats, full bulkhead, full lrsh, and isnt out of warranty till sunday so can extend lr approved...... Should i want to.

If its the 2.7 dont tune it, just make sure you service it a bit more often than the stated milage or have a good warranty that will pay for an engine swap if your keeping it more than 2years Wink FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Heard about the engine failures on the 2.7's, am looking at the extended lr warranty, should be about 1k for the year, but might be able to get the same one as on the ff which was half price and still with car care plan.....

Have looked at threads regarding bottom end failure etc, hopefully good maintenance should help reduce the likelyhood of this happening, however you can never know how a car has been maintained prior to your ownership. The book says 3 md stamps last at 43k next service due at 58k (will get done sooner), the selling dealer is a main isuzu agent near stoke and i have a penchant for md service, so it will go to hunters in the next few weeks. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

You will be fine the 2.7 can do 250k on the motorway providing its properly serviced.
