Just for curiosity.
The number was originally issued in Glasgow, back when the councils had their own numbers.
Used to have a lot of fun driving about and identifying where all the different numbers came from.
My dad taught me where they came from and as I am now pushing 72 I knew all the Scottish ones and a good number of the English ones.
Ahhhh the good old days.

sometimes the right plate comes up at the right realistic price. take a look at this knobhead price for a 'plate! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Range-Rover-Evoq...2ec917d4e7 get outta here!
i have a similar plate to this and indeed very similar to the first posting on this topic, 5 digits, with a '6' not an '8' - it was £400
some people like 'em, some dont. -i picked up a rover with plate J519 UAR sort of 'j 51 g u a r' -for £100 when scrap cars had to be paid for to take away. but i dont have a jag at present!

Cheap as chips only $445 au this is the least expensive style available 3 letters and 3 numbers, couldn't believe it was available ten months ago when I first looked when we got the range. Still available last month so I had to buy it, bit of a cheat the star will be added when I get them otherwise the seperator goes between the letters and numbers.
