As per the title, can any please vouch for an Indy/ Specialist. Someone current who knows their stuff, will take care with the car and with what they're doing (mechanical & bodywork) to hopefully assess and diagnose a couple of issues on a 4.2SC?

I telephoned, spoke with the Managing Director/ Head Engineer Alister Rigby, explained what my issues of concern were and he sympathetically invited me to take the car in for inspection later that day.

Alister did the inspection after carefully listening to the symptoms explained by me. Within minutes he confirmed my concerns by diagnosing 5 noteworthy problems in need of prompt attention and said I was right to be concerned. These issues were not detected by means of fancy diagnostic equipment, just good old fashioned use of a ramp, a lamp, the ears, the eyes, sense of smell, specialist mechanical knowledge and experience of these cars.

A clean and tidy workshop, staffed by nice people who are into these cars, led by a refreshingly helpful and impressive boss and all at very fair/ affordable rates (and the boss drives a RR) .
