I was told a different story by my local dealer. There are two keys programmed into the car and if one goes missing, you order a new one from the factory, which then replaces either key 1 or 2 depending on which one is missing. Then, the outstanding key will cease to electronically function, although it will manually open a door. If this is done, the alarm will sound. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

ah now we are getting somewhere, so Noddy if the Alarm sounds is this just once and then thats it? or would it sound intermittently indeffinitely - I realise you may not know the answer...

this is exactly what i've been told , the alarm will sound constantly and will not start the car or disable the immobiliser |

after telling me they would take 3 weeks i got my new set of keys today.

I just ordered a new one under warranty for my 2007 (faulty key). They told me 48hrs but it came next day?? How come so long for yours???????????
