not sure if this would be relevant to your situation but i went for diesel as LPG was a non starter for me as i like to use the eurotunnel when travelling to europe and LPG is a no no on the tunnel.....

Definitely go for the earlier BMW 4.4 V8 engine. The later Jag engine needs a valve lubricant kit fitted, which is not only an extra cost (i.e. the initial install, then ongoing lubricant) but all the LPG installers I have spoken to say the BMW is the better engine of the two anyway if you are going to convert to LPG.

Expect to pay at least £1,800 - £2,000 for a good quality LPG system (BRC and Prins are up there with the best) and don't take it to anyone who says they can fit it in one day! These kits needs 3 days minimum to install professionally.

And as Steptoe said earlier, go for one that fits in the spare wheel well - I too have a 90 litre tank in there and carry an emergency tyre kit! Wink

Hope that helps Thumbs Up Cheers

Greg

Go ahead punk, make my day........
